How to Get Here
Blue Pot is located 79 kms southeast of Cebu City. It is a 2-3 hour drive along the scenic national highway which offers astounding views of southern Cebu’s century old acacia trees, gorgeous shorelines, heritage houses and structures, rice fields and misty mountain views truncating along the scenic backdrop of Bohol Strait. Driving down south can be a fun road trip and an opportunity to discover some of Cebu’s less trodden spots, observe it’s unique culture and have a fill of the local delicacies that vary from town to town.
Situated in Barangay Cawayan just 10 minutes away from the Poblacion in Dalaguete, Blue Pot can be reached via the southeastern Cebu National highway. Busses are a convenient public transportation that are available in the South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. One can have a choice of deluxe (non-aircon) buses with regular fares or the more comfortable units that are air-conditioned offering more comfy seats, less stops and WiFi access.
V-hire (vehicles/vans for hire) plying down the route to the towns farther south are also convenient modes of transportation. For a more private and leisurely road trip, families and groups may hire pre-arranged trips on an accredited Tourist Transport Vehicles offered by various tour operators in Cebu City.
